Screen (Multiple Rake)

Duperon was established in 1985 as a manufacturer of pumps, expanding its product line to include the patented Self-Cleaning Trashrack (1979) and the FlexRake (1995). In subsequent years, complementary product lines such as controls, conveyors, and compactors were developed in response to customer needs. Duperon Corporation continues to pride itself on the simple mechanical design of each product, as well as the solutions developed individually for customers.

Today, Duperon Corporation is a leader in primary liquid/solids separation technology, with installations around the globe and an ever expanding range of products that are simply amazing, yet amazingly simple.

Duperon®   FlexRake®

The simple, trouble-free cleaning mechanism effortlessly removes debris of all sizes and without interruption. Instead of complex mechanisms requiring reversal of mass, proximity switches and shutdowns, the FlexRake®  reliably removes debris in a wide range of conditions. No alarms, no operators, no fuss.

• Only three basic components – a powerful drive head, a durable raking device, and a rugged barscreen

• Multi-functioning patented FlexLink functions as a frame, lower sprocket and connection point for scrapers to allow the entire unit to be driven by a single sprocket

• Strongest, most hard-wearing chain in the industry – the stainless steel link system creates a frame, lower sprocket and scraper connection point with 33,000 lb. yield and 60,000 lb. break point!

• Tough materials – long life, high-performance UHMW and stainless steel used to eliminate corrosion

• Premium efficiency Sumitomo Cyclo gear motors eliminates abrasive sliding contact

• No lower sprocket – means no lower shaft, no lower sprockets, no bearings requiring in-channel lubrication; no underwater maintenance

• Minimal maintenance – no lubrication schedule

• Simple installation – either ships fully assembled to sites without handling or space constraints, or ships fully factory-tested for easy reassembly when constraints exist

How the FlexRake® works...

Step 1:The FlexLink articulates to a 90 degree angle, closing on the drive pin. Once closed, the sprocket drives the link system forward.

Step 2: As it leaves the drive sprocket, the FlexLink locks into a solid bar, forming its own frame.

Step 3: As the FlexLink chain and attached scrapers reach the bottom of the screen, the FlexLink forms its own lower sprocket .

Step 4: Once the links turn to travel up the screen, they are engineered to allow clearance around the pin and water lubrication, allowing stainless on stainless movement without gouging or wear.

Step 5: Exclusive full-penetration technology features scrapers designed to clean 3 sides of the bar, as well as horizontal cross members.

Step 6: Multiple scrapers placed every 21” continuously rake the barscreen. With screen head loss minimized, some sites report a 3x greater capture rate than with their previous machines.
